Artist talk at Heide Museum of Modern Art

Guy Stuart talked about his work, 'Lattice Full of Holes'.

It was 1972, and new federal government, Whitlam of ALP, was elected, creating Australia Council.... Very exciting time of his creative life.

This large scale installation was made of French camouflage net, enticing viewers to a myriad of vertiginous holes.

He spoke highly of Japanese architecture and its interior design as his inspiration of minimalism movement.

Another speaker was Peter Cripps on his work 'Real Objects in the World'.

His main concern in creating art work is, how it occupies the surrounding space, and, the way it engages in a dialogue with viewers.
I found it's very interesting.
