Oil Painting Portrait Workshop at Victorian Artists Society - Day 7

I'm reasonably happy with this first block in.
I've found a bearded man relatively easy to paint, I mean, to get its proportion right, because it gives me some strong reference in his face.
I'll finish it next Monday.
