Plein Air Oil Painting

It really was a glorious spring day here in Melbourne.
I went back to Yarra Bend Park this afternoon.

I'm reasonably happy with an overall composition, but, again, trees are not convincing at all. 

They all look as if top areas were chopped off!

That would be my next challenge.

I also noticed that the grass at front looks too fluid. I think I should have painted with less medium.

Anyway, it was a great day.
