Plein Air Oil Painting

I went back to Yarra Bend Park.
This one is the same location as the last one.

I tried to paint trees more carefully, and I think it's a bit better, but, they're still not convincing.
I need more practice.

I wasn't happy with its foreground, and out of sheer frustration, I grabbed a paint knife and applied thick paints.
I'm not sure if it's working or not, but, it was fun.
