This is a very thought-provoking documentary about not just hair, but also about our obsession with our appearances, cultural conformity, and fundamental human desire of wanting to have something we don't possess.
However, I didn't understand why the director spent so much time telling a story about a hair competition and its participants. I found it's utterly unnecessary and it actually took viewers' attention away from otherwise strong theme of the film.
