We went to The Briars in Mt Martha this afternoon, about an hour drive south-east of Melbourne.
After picnic lunch under big trees, I set up my easel at this location. Kate decided to paint at different spot.
The light kept changing a lot, and that's always a big problem painting outdoors.
I spent about 1 3/4 hour.
The roof of the building at back should have been lower than the front one.
I feel I managed to capture the effect of light just ok.
It was a glorious day.
