Archibald Prize at Art Gallery of Ballarat

We drove to Ballarat to see this exhibition. I haven't been to this gallery for ages, but I always like this place.

We met up with our fellow artist Francis, and he told me there were some paintings we love, like, Max Meldrum, Clarice Beckett and Hugh Ramsay upstairs. That was very nice.

As for the exhibition, these are my favourites.
Alicia Mozqueria, Robert Hannaford and Marcus Wills.

Then we visited Francis' studio. He built a great space in his home, saturated with daylight.
We had a lovely chat with him about art, philosophy and life.
It was a great day.
