Plein Air Oil Painting

After the gallery, and clearly inspired by David Moore's paintings, we decided to drive to Chewton, about 10 min drive from Castlemaine. 

We found this place just off the main road, and set up our easels. 

We spent about 2 hours. I'm reasonably happy with the foreground and and middle ground, but trees look a bit dodgy  

Also Sky colour is too weak. 

There was a cow in the hill, I think I did ok painting it. 

It was a great day.
