Today is a public holiday here in Melbourne, celebrating(?) AFL Grand Final.
Early in the morning I went to Banyule Swamp. I often take a long walk around here, and love this view.
So, I decided to set up my easel here.
There's a sign that says this is where Walter Withers painted in 1895. Obviously it has changed a lot, but the house is still standing on the hill.
The light kept changing and that was very tricky. I spent 2 hours.
I had a fascinating chat with two guys, one is a Zen monk and the other is a psychologist. We talked about Existentialism and meaning of life. That was really great.
