Oil Painting Sketch

I did a small sketch with pochade box. 

This is 'Woman in black dress' by my favourite Hugh Ramsay. 

Well, she looks 10 years older :(

I'm testing a canvas roll. It's a small sample from Seniors Art, 10 oz cotton primed. 

It's a bit rough initially, but, as I build paints with medium, it gets very smooth and easy to push paints around. 

1.5 hours. 

Oil on canvas. 8x8in.
