In the morning I drove to Taradale, about 1.5 hour drive north-west of Melbourne.
It's only 5 minutes away from Malmsbury, and I heard that it offers a great view of Viaduct.
It really was true. I set up my easel here.
This is a view from east.

I spent 3 hours on this one. Not so happy. I had a trouble with the foreground.

After late lunch, I decided to try it again, and set up the easel here. This time, a view from west.

I spent 2 hours. It was a struggle, I was constantly fighting with mosquitoes, and bitten several times. Very itchy. It was really difficult to concentrate. I definitely need to get a repellent spray next time.
Whether I should put fences at the foreground or not, I thought about it towards the end, and decided to do so. I'm still not sure about the decision.

Viaduct in Taradale is not as beautiful as the one in Malmsbury, but its surroundings are very picturesque and I had a great time here. I'll definitely come back again.
