Painting trip to Beechworth - Day5

I'm having a dinner at Yackandandah Hotel at the moment. Great vibe. Just like pubs in London. You know what? It's fascinating to watch people in a pub in a small country town. So many characters.

In the morning I drove to Yack Station. This is an artists' colony in an unused old train station. I had a great chat with some artists.

After saying hi to Rod and his family at Information Centre, I drove back towards Beechworth for 10 min, and set up my easel here.

This shed caught my eyes yesterday. I don't know why, but, it's an interesting setup with mountains and sky as a background.
I spent 2 hours.

Oil on canvas. 14x18 in.

After lunch, good sandwich from Bakery in town, I drove around the area along Tourist Drive.
I found this peaceful spot around the corner between Garvey Rd and Mongan Lane in Osbornes Flat.

It's nice to do a panoramic scene from time to time. I kept a whole thing sketchy. I spent 2 hours.
