Painting trip to Majorca - Day 1

I'm sitting here in Airbnb accommodation in the middle of the bush, blasting Dave Brubeck Trio on a stereo, watching wonderful sunset.  

When I said that I'm going to Majorca for a painting trip, almost all of my clients thought I'm going to Spain. 

"That's really wonderful. How long are you going?"

"Five days."

"Wow, that's a bit short, isn't it?"

"Yeah, unfortunately."

"How long does it take?"

"I think two hours."

"Well? Who are you flying with, then?"

"Mazda 2"

Some of them didn't get it even after I said this. Unbelievable.  

There's a little area called Ascot, north of Ballarat and I found this lovely abandoned barn. I set up my easel here just off the road. 

 

It was fantastic. Very peaceful.  I really enjoyed it. I spent 2.5 hours.
