Plein Air Oil Painting

I drove to Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead, 1 hour drive east of Melbourne, to deliver the painting. It's great that my work will find a new home. 

I had a great chat with Alvan and Jill. It's a wonderful place, lots of history. 

Because weather was bad I set up my easel under garden rotunda, looking towards Chapel. 

 

It was very tricky, one moment the sun came out and next it started raining again. Also it was freezing! I had a good chat with some who came up to me. 

I spent 2.5 hours.
