I first came across this book when I was living in London, recommended by my French friends who declared themselves as Existentialists. I had no idea what they were talking about, so started to read Sartre, well, a big mistake. I didn't understand a thing.
Then came this one. Absolutely brilliant. Since then, it's been a beacon of light in my life.
