Painting trip to Kergunyah - Day 4

I drove to Lake Hume this morning. As I was searching for the spot, I saw this bridge and decided to paint here. It’s on B400 from Huon towards Tallangatta.

How to paint the bridge with its many legs (?) and water filling in between is a challenge.
I needed to focus on those. It’s not perfect but I’m reasonably happy with this one. It was very peaceful.
I spent 2.5 hours.

After lunch, I drove past  Hume Dam then to Bellbridge. It seemed today was the day of painting bridges.
This one is really testing my ability to get perspective right.

The problem was, it got really windy and my easel collapsed a couple of times. I had to hold canvas constantly while painting and that was a nightmare. It was a shame. I was very frustrated painting this otherwise beautiful scenery.
Considering how hard it was, I think I did an ok job.
