Plain Air Oil Painting

The last day of Easter break.
It’s cold and cloudy and I wasn’t in a mood of driving too far to paint, so I decided to go back to The Centre Ivanhoe ( Heidelberg Town Hall).
I wasn’t too happy with the one I did two days ago. It was a bit sloppy.

Somehow I never feel sick & tired of painting this view. It’s beautiful particularly in autumn.
I was very careful measuring its perspective.
It was very peaceful as well listening to Beethoven by Daniel Barenboim.
I’m happy with this one.
I spent 3.5 hours.

Oil on canvas. 14x18 in.
