I went to the opening night at Footscray Community Arts Centre. It was very nice to see some of my friends (with a pleasant surprise!), and I had a good chat with some artists who are exhibiting.
To see my own photo exhibited along with others in a gallery is always satisfying.
This time, it's printed in a magazine as well.
This is the first time for me to have gone through a selection process, more than 400 entries, so, I was very excited.
Then, I saw a new play 'Elena and the Nightingale' by Tom Petsinis.
It's a story of a young girl growing into a womanhood supported by a mythical figure.
It was a beautiful, poetical drama, intertwined with lovely musical tunes, played by strong casts.
It was a wonderful evening.
