Louise Bourgeois - Late Works

I went to the opening at Heide Museum of Modern Art.

This exhibition focuses on her late works.
They're mainly fabric sculptures with some fabric drawings, dry point prints and drawings.

I've never heard of this French-American artist before, and have been doing some researches.

I found her sculptures fascinating. Partly because they're made of fabric.
The nature of their materials give an impression of softness and femininity, but, these works convey very powerful messages of her inner feelings.

The exhibition offers us an opportunity to delve into her great body of works spanning well over 70 years.
