Oil Painting at Last Peek Studio

John Orland Birt is a well-known artist, particularly for his brilliant atmospheric water colour paintings.
I often paint together with him at this studio.
And I always try to get some comments from John.

"It's a very boring painting, John. Any thoughts?"
"I think your painting needs more drama. Focus on strong shadow. That will give it a punch"

I think he's spot on.
