I went back to The Briars in Mt Martha, Mornington Peninsula on this New Year's Day.
A good friend of mine is staying in the area, so we painted together in this beautiful space.
Also, the foreground looks ok, I didn't do much details in this area today.
I'm not so happy with its middle area where a line of trees go up from left to right. These trees don't look convincing. Again, trees are always a challenge! I keep telling myself.
And hey barrels! They're just gorgeous. These are the last things I painted in, and I was a bit tired, so, I think it shows in the painting.
It was a memorable day.
