I drove to Le Page Homestead in Hawkstowe Park, 3/4 hour drive north-east of Melbourne, this afternoon.
This is a lovely oasis, always very quiet but beautifully maintained. It's my favourite place with lots of fond memories.
Good thing about this place is, there's a picnic table under a shelter. So, it's perfect particularly on a rainy day like today.
After late lunch, I set up my easel here.
I spent about 2 hours. Because it's Monday, there wasn't anyone around. It was very peaceful. Great for my mind.
It only takes 20 min drive from where I live now. I should come back more often.
I painted very loosely this time. I enjoyed it a lot.
