Today, I started by unifying background with solid dark. Lighter drapery was interesting. Greg told me to paint it with Raw Umber, then mix White with Naples Yellow Deep, and lighten it up.
I refined the subjects, but, it was a struggle. Reading a subtle tonal and temperature shift is really hard.
I'm learning a lot.
