I've found this subject very difficult to paint. As Greg told me, there seems nothing much, no eye-catching 'pretty' colours.
Therefore, it challenges me greatly to see subtle tonal variations and render them on a canvas.
I'm very slow on this one. I focused on the cast, and did some work on a jar at back.
I've just booked a painting trip to Tasmania next year by myself. I've been meaning to go there for a long time.
Very excited.
