Painting trip to Beechworth - Day3

I decided to stay in Beechworth today. Upon suggestion from a host lady, I drove to Beechworth Gorge.
This is my first time, and I was amazed how spectacular the Gorge was.
There are a few places to park a car and take a walk.
Here is my pick at Spring Creek.

It's really fantastic to set up my easel right at the edge of a cliff.

I just tried to simplify the scenery without any details. I spent 2.5 hours.

After lunch, again from Beechworth Pantry, I decided to do one more. This time looking up.

I don't think I did a good job. I should have paid more attention to big shapes of rock. I lost sight of them and started to fiddle.
I spent 2.5 hours.
It was a glorious day. I just love this place. So peaceful.
