Plein Air Oil Painting

Because weather forecast was good and there’s no Greg’s class, I drove to Healesville Railway Station.
I found this water tank fascinating, so I set up my easel here.

The way it was catching light was just beautiful, and I focused on its effects, not so much details.
I really enjoyed this one. I spent 2.5 hours.

After late lunch, I decided to do one more. It’s a same spot, different direction.

Again, the station was flooded with late afternoon lights. It was just beautiful.
I’m not happy with this one, though. I kind of lost it halfway through.
