Painting trip to Majorca - Day 4

In the morning I drove to Dunolly, half an hour drive north of Majorca. I had no idea of this town, but, it turned out to be a great pick.

Just before arriving at the town, I drove by this abandoned building. Morning light was incredible. It's Wighams Junction Hotel according to the sign in front of the building. This former hotel used to be a popular gathering place for locals, with entertainment and sports...

I was worried about losing strong cast shadows, but, that wasn't the case, although the angle changed quite a lot. I had to be very quick to capture this wonderful effect of light.
I spent 2.5 hours.

Then I drove to the town centre. There're so many beautiful buildings scattering all over the town. Just walking around, one can feel the wealth of the past.
I happened to come across this gorgeous house across Old Court House. I was told it's a private property. The garden causes me an amazing visual sensation.

I had a lovely chat with its owner. I thought she might buy the painting but she didn't.
Again, I tried to get its proportion and angle right, but, I can see a few obvious errors now.
It got very dark towards the end. I think I got overall impression ok though.
I spent 3 hours.
