I have to confess. I had never heard of this dance company, but, oh, what an amazing evening.
This performance at Hawthorn Arts Centre was one of the best dance experiences I had recently.
There were six programs, and I just loved every single one of them.
Divenire, From a Dream, Dark Before Daylight, On Air, Horizon Variation and Infinite Space.
I particularly liked their choice of music, that includes Olafur Arnalds, Elgar, Debussy, Max Richter, Mozart.....
They're all just beautiful.
Along with fantastic costume and lighting, their eclectic mixture of contemporary and traditional ballet really mesmerised all of us tonight.
The last performance 'Infinite Space' was the best finale I've ever seen. Very clever.
I'm looking forward to seeing their next performance.
